This Valentine's instead of going out for dinner I am felling more like creating a very intimate space in our house and just have a quiet but very intimate dinner.
Here are a couple of ideas that inspire me.
This table invites you to intimacy...just a simple flower arrangement in a little corner of your house can create the perfect ambience for romance....
Here Ralph Lauren brings his classic all-American style to a supper for two. I like using maybe formal dinning chairs and create a space for two in your bedroom, by the window...somewhere where you never really had dinner before...
Do it all the way! Showing abundance in your table and going all the way will make the couple feel special...and allow for a special moment to happen!
Pick a color palette and just work around it...the classic is to go red on Valentine's but who says we can not "play pretend" ( my sons favourite game) and allow our senses to travel...maybe you can have an Indian dinner...o Morrocan...or just simple throw some pillow in the floor and visit Tokyo..
Using what you already have in the house is the trick...some candles with just simple beans creates a cozy center piece.
Or if you will romantic you can just have all white and just arrange a small heart with flowers!
My grandfather ( Yan) used to tell me "Always take care of the little details and you will accomplish big goals..in other words the devil is in the details...just a simple rose creates a special place card.
Allow yourself to dream..create an ambience...make the couple feel special...and feel fabulous about it!!!
