Perfect & Delicious Snack: Butternut Squash Puree


I have been eating Butternut Squash puree for a long time now... and it's one of my old time favorites, specially when I am trying to cut back on calories..!!!


It has no fat, no sodium, 3g Carbs and less than 100 calories for a big bowl. But instead of taking some time to cook it {and when I do I just through a couple of pieces on the rice cooker}....you buy the frozen box at the store {you can even buy organic butternut squash puree} and have it ready in your freezer. Next time you are ready for a snack you put it in the microwave, add some butter and Cinnamon if you are looking for a sweeter taste, or if not some salt and pepper...!
Once your taste buds get use to it..you are going to be craving it all the time!

Or if you want to have a lighter lunch or dinner just broil some chicken and add the puree!
