It seems lately that the name of the game is to photograph top models with no makeup and not too much re-touch. This time it was Harpers Bazaar's turn. They photographed the top models of the 90s like Helena Christensen, Claudia Schiffer, Amber Valetta, Cindy Crawford, Shalom Harlow, Nadja Auermann, Kristen McMenamy, and Tatjana Patitz. Of course they all looked absolutely stunning.
How do you feel about this trend? Do you like seeing top models with no makeup?

Ohh, this is a fantastic question. It is wonderful and refreshing to see the natural beauty of these amazing women and the photography is certainly exceptional. However, to be quite honest, one thing that I love about fashion magazines is being able to escape my ordinary everyday life. I would have to admit that I would be somewhat disappointed if there wasn't an element of glamour and fantasy still left on the pages of these glossy magazines. I only wish this industry would do something about some of the ridiculously thin catwalk models that we often see. Seeing those poor malnourished women just make me feel sad, not envious.
absolutely yes, I don't like over photoshopped or plastic looks!! and btw 90's models are still the best!
i love their high fashion beauty in the pages of magazines where they are glamorous and perfectly posed, it gives us something to want, eye candy etc...but it is refreshing to see the lens removed, the layers of makeup dissapear and natural beauty to be valued. i think both need to exist to appreciate the other...

I like both style; glammed up & nude.
But I think it's more beautiful to see a woman so natural. It's real and they still look so beautiful.
I like both: it's great to look at those beautiful photos but seeing them being all natural is great, too!
