Inspired a little bit by my granny-a beautiful and fabulous woman, who always loved this kind of prints. And a little bit by nowadays fashion, I want to share with you today wonderful and chic items with polka dots.

I always thought that this print was difficult to carry. But with time, I´ve learned that there is nothing difficult if you really want to do it and you really mean it.(Obviously there is so much more meaning in this that only wearing polka dots!).

Fabulous Eco-Rose Water Facial Cleanser

Rose water is one of the all-time best and most traditional facial cleansers, because of its astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. And not only is great for your skin but the smell is just fabulous!! You can make your own rose water facial cleanser, it is very easy. Keep reading for the recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup rose-infused water (see below)
2 teaspoons glycerin
5 to 10 drops rose essential oil

Preparation
Place a handful of dried rose petals in a mason jar, cover with boiling water, seal, and let set overnight. Note that dried rose petals are available in many health food stores (as is vegetable glycerin), or online from herbal supply stores.

After the rose petal infusion has set overnight, strain. Combine the ingredients in a pretty jar, and shake to blend. Note that you will extend the shelf life if you add 1/2 a teaspoon of grapefruit seed extract (available in health food stores). The antiseptic quality of essential oils will also act as a preservative.

You can also add some sugar and rub your hands to do a home-made scrub...you will end up with your hands smelling fabulous.
You can also use it to cure baby rush!

Greenhouse, the first ever eco-chic club in New York

Greenhouse is the first eco-friendly nightlife destination in New York. Lit entirely with LED lights, the club cuts down on electricity using energy from a wind-powered grid. The bi-level nightclub was built from recycled or recyclable material!! But don't except a simple place, the focal point of the main floor is a mammoth chandelier made from 5,000 individually hung crystals. Celebrities like Russel Simmons choose Greenhouse for his Diamond Empowerment Fund. So now you can go out in-style, dance all night long and still take care of our planet! For the eco-chic in you. By the way, on May 7 the Y-Society is holding a Green Gala!

It is not a first for BG to host a brand, what is a first is that it is not for fashion display...Bottega Venetta is introducing their houseware collection (only a few garmets of the brand are being displayed as a complement to the collection). A lesson in classical elegance, the Living range includes Veneta’s trademark woven leather fashioned into camp beds, camel coloured chest consoles and everything from bell jars to letter-openers and photo frames to pencil trays.
