Paris mon amour by H&M

<span class=<span class=<span class=<span class=

I am so in love with the new editorial for fall 2009 from H&M. The line is very chic with a Parisian bobo-chic style. Love the first two pictures..I could dress like that any day!

The line is done with very basic pieces that we can all have in our own closets, such as skinny jeans,a white shirt, black high-heels...and maybe just add a jacket, some belts..and voila mon amour....prêt à partir!

Join the Chain Gang for Link Embellished Accessories

link-accessories

The multi-link chain has my heart all wrapped up for fall. I've been lusting over chain accessories as they add a touch of classic whimsy to any outfit. The classic chain and ribbon look was made famous by Chanel and now is reinterpreted by other designers, each adding their own bit of individual 'charm'! Chain links add a bold edge of metallic linkage to shoes, handbags, belts, wellie boots and jewelry such as the Lanvin pearl and chain necklaces leading the trend. An extreme example of this trend applied to shoes is the Camilla Skovgaard satin chain-embellished sandal with a dramatic rubber serrated sole. Metal, metal and more metal is every where and as I've said before it is best paired with black. If you've started your shopping for fall yet, you'd have to be blind to miss the tables full of metal studded booties and metal embellished accessories on display.

These chain accessories are a nice complement to the stud trend, but please wear with restraint. This is one trend you can most definitely shop your closet for. Most everyone has an old charm bracelet or link chained handbag in their closet. Perhaps pair the chain handbag with a white tee and skinny jeans and sky high black patent platforms.

Some of our picks for this chain accessory trend include (top left clockwise):

Camilla Skovgaard Satin chain-embellished sandals, $440 at Net-a-Porter
McQ Leather belt, $235 at Net-a-Porter
Yves Saint Laurent Small satin chain-strap bag, $1,295 at Net-a-Porter
Lanvin Pearl and grosgrain necklace, $1,155 at Net-a-Porter
Juicy Couture It girl charm bracelet, $178 at Juicy Couture
Burberry Chain-embellished Wellington boots, $395 at Net-a-Porter

Get free shipping at Juicy Couture. You get FREE shipping when you purchase something on their website for the first time using a coupon code from TheFind.com's new coupon site.

Take a closer look at Rachel Zoe's LA House

<span class=
From red carpet dressing to design collaborations, advertising campaigns to editorial shoots and runway shows, Rachel Zoe is the go-to force among fashionistas when looking for a dose of effortlessly chic style. Season 2 of The Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo premiered last Monday August 24. Perfect timing to take a closer look at her LA pad -even though you get to see parts of it on the show you quite not get the entire look of the house.

This fabulous pictures from Welcome Home where taken by Richard Powers.

‘My work life is really busy so this is my oasis where I can hang out with my husband. It’s also central, so it’s near my clients and the red carpet events they attend,’ says Rachel

<span class=
Where are you most creative?
RZ:I like to sit in the living room and flip through my collection of fashion books. When I’m feeling creatively stifled, I look at the sketches and muses of my heroes: Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent and Halston.

<span class=
<span class=
What is your favourite piece in the house?
RZ: I love my Visionaire dolls. They’re highly collectable and each one has their own personality. I move them around the house all the time. If I am working a lot in my office I will often sit them on my desk and when I have some time to hang out in the living room they will follow me there.

<span class=

Keep reading for more pictures.

<span class=
<span class=
What are your home styling tips?
RZ:It’s not about having a lot of money, it’s about having that one thing that makes you feel fabulous – from artwork to a sumptuous throw to spread across your bed.

<span class=
<span class=
<span class=
<span class=
What sort of atmosphere were you trying to create?
RZ:Rodger and I spend so much time in hotels we have been influenced by the designs. We liked the idea to make the house feel like we were in a luxury hotel or spa which had some kind of Zen quality.

I am so in love with her book collection!! Just fabulous!
What was your favorite part of her house?

Butterfly Attraction

<span class=<span class=<span class=
There are several stories about butterflies in mythology from all over the world, many of which, in particular Greek mythology, link butterflies to the human soul. The Ancient Greeks also considered butterflies as the souls of those who had passed away.

Butterflies are generally symbols of transformation because they go through a metamorphosis. They are beautiful, evasive, and, at times, inspiring.

Always captivating they bring a smile to my face every time I see one!

If you are walking by and you happen to see a butterfly, do you notice it? and if you do, do they entice any particular feeling?

Prettiest Ribbon Tie Necklaces from Luxe to Less

ribbon-necklace
One of the most exciting looks for jewelry is the ribbon tie necklace. The ultra feminine and romantic look of a ribbon tied necklace adds the perfect touch of gorgeous pearls, crystals, gemstones, flowers, beading, and chain links for your prettiest look. Intricate weaving of crystals and beads are embroidered onto fabric backings into a delicate couture worthy design. These be-ribboned beauties are best worn with dresses or blouses bearing a simple neckline that is purposefully devoid of any extraneous detail. The ultra luxe ribbon necklaces such as those from Lanvin and Vera Wang will run upwards of $1200 because of the intensive labor and glass pearls intertwined into a work of art. The Lanvin glass pearl necklace (upper left) is $1,220 at Net-a-Porter and is covered in mesh with two silk pompoms. It has an intentionally frayed ribbon, which is tied at the neck. A gorgeous look for when you want to look your best at a black-tie affair or pair with a white t-shirt and skinny black jeans for an edgy luxe downtown look. Also of ultra luxe appeal is the Vera Wang lamé & crystal necklace (bottom center) that goes for $650 at Saks. The bronze hued lamé flowers and crystals embellish the gorgeous design, which ties with a ribbon tie. This ribbon tie necklace is a pretty alternative and we love the bronze, crystal and gray color palette. Vera Wang's ribbon tied necklaces in fact come in many shapes and sizes to choose from.

For the more budget-minded among us the Felted Beaded Plate necklace (top center) is an amazing deal for $16.80 at Forever21. This pretty ribbon tie necklace would make your favorite LBD into something special, indeed. The Bop Bijoux Ribbon Link Necklace (bottom right) , $120 at Shopbop is simply a chain link intertwined with a double layer of contrasting ribbons. A unique look to dress up or down. At Anthropologie the mercurial crochet necklace (top right) is a stunner and reasonably priced for the look at $128. Find coupon codes and deals from Anthropologie here.

"The September Issue" New York , Are you ready? Take a look at the Premier last night plus clips never seen!

Are you ready for the fashion event of the year? And I am not talking about Fashion Week in NY..no darlings is about the movie The September Issue.

Anna Wintour, the legendary editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine for twenty years, is the most powerful and polarizing figure in fashion. Hidden behind her trademark bob and sunglasses, she has never allowed anyone to scrutinize the inner workings of her magazine. Until now. With unprecedented access, filmmaker R.J. Cutler’s new film THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE does for fashion what he did for politics in The War Room, taking the viewer inside a world they only think they know. Every August a record-breaking number of people can’t wait to get their hands on the September issue of Vogue.

The movie takes you behind the scenes at Fashion Week, to Europe, on shoots and reshoots, and into closed-door staff meetings, bearing witness to an arduous, entertaining, and sometimes emotionally demanding process. Here is a look at two clips of the movie realeased yesterday!

The movie premiered last night in New York...and lets just say that la cream de la cream went to see the movie. Sienna Miller, Renée Zellweger, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Rents, Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs..you name it..!

<span class=
True to herself, Anna Wintour walked the red carpet as the host of “The September Issue” premier with her legendary glasses. She choose for the event a Prada Resort 2010 Dress. A fabulous necklace, beige kitten heels and of course her trademark bob completed her look.
Anna walked the red Carpet with Sienna Miller, the cover star of the September 2007 issue this documentary chronicles. Sienna choose a blue sky Thakoon Resort 2010 strapless mini dress with gold sandals and an adorable silver clutch.

<span class=
The best dressed of the night where Tory Burch in a purple Narciso Rodriguez dress and fabulous studded sandals. Vera Wang choose an asymmetrical layered skirt from her Resort 2010 Collection with a tank and a fabulous bib necklace. She wore fabulous Prada Spring 2009 snake-skin heels (to-die-for!). Georgina Chapman choose a silver long sleeved tunic dress with a silver rope tied at the waist and some silver Louboutin. Cynthia Rowley opted for a vibrant blue shortened dress from her Fall 2009 collection.

Take a look at other designers and celebrities that attended the premier last night.

Tuesday Flowers!

<span class=Love the simplicity yet coziness of this coffee table! It might be because I know summer is on its way out that I am craving more than ever pink flowers bouquets..I even found a new pink rose that I love..the Titanic Roses(very soft pastel pink rose) that no matter with what other flower I pair it with makes the bouquet looks fabulous!

Try to find a flower place where you can develop a relationship with the florist..he/she will start introducing you to a fabulous world of flowers..you can get tips on how to makes them looks better, get a special selection, and even get a discount..and if you don't go to the national name brands they usually cost much less that at the supermarket. Trust me you won't regret it..! Your house is going to look fabulous..and you are going to feel very special!!

Peonies are my all time favourite flower. How about you, what is your favourite flower??
