The fabulous Garance Dore did a photo shoot for Elle Uk about the military trend and voila....the end result is great styling inspiration ala Garance style! Love the splash of a strong fuchsia or red against a deep green utility jacket...and the olive shorts with the pleated short are also fun (not a fan of the blazer thought). I really like interpreting this trend into shorts. I feel like it's a little less ubiquitous than the military coat, plus they just make some really well-cut military-inspired shorts. Those pockets on the ones in this editorial are fabulous!
