The Merugo Canal in Hanami, Tokyo

I am totally smitten by these gorgeous pictures taken by Narumi from the Meguro Canal in Hanami, Tokyo. The canal is all bordered by cherry blossoms trees illuminated by lanterns at night fall....! As if the beauty of the canal and cherry blossoms would not be enough, the place is also full of gorgeous boutiques and coffees.....! Seriously.. how much better can it get? Another beautiful place that goes in my Little Black Book under "must visit"!

If you are ready to get delighted with more utterly gorgeous pictures from Japan get some green tea and visit Narumi's blog!

Have you ever been to Japan??

i lived in Japan for a year when i was really little ~ cherry blossom season was sooo beautiful - i remember me and my family went to a park that was filled with these trees and as you walked down the path, the blossoms would fall like snow and cover the ground. The whole park was a scene of sunbeams (from the afternoon light), light pink and white delicate blossoms floating on the cool, sweet air and families were all gathering to have picnics underneath the beautiful trees. Later that evening when we got home, i found a couple more blossoms caught in my hair. This is one of my more romantic, fairytale, childhood memories which i will cherish forever. i can't help but describe it all so wordily, but the beauty of it all was beyond description ^^. <3
