Indoor Garden

Houseplants add color, form, and style.....all in a single pot. A beautiful bay window creates the perfect fragrance retreat thanks to a calamondin orange and Meyer lemon trees, a gardenia standard and a pot of free-flowing jasmine.

Houseplants where not my forte...until a couple of years ago that I seemed to master the art of it! Some of the things I have to confess that I tried (unsuccessful) in previous years: cleaning the leafs with milk, playing classic music...and yes I even talked to the plants...I was determined to having an indoor garden in my apartment. And even thought today I sometimes even forget to water them...I am so proud of my plants....I've come a long way!

How about you? Have you ever talked to your plants?? any other trick of the trade that you tried??

lovely! I just started with some balcony flowers, so let's see if I master them at the end of the summer. Maybe then go for indoor plants... (I'd love to actually, I just need to learn a bit gardening skills!)

have a lovely day!

Fabulous idea, but I am so bad when it comes to plants, so I am always having to replace them. My momma-in-love has the perfect green thumb for them, she has plants that are years old.

I have always wanted two citrus trees anchoring the patio doors from the outside, on the step landing. When I tried to have them ordered, the nursery didn't follow-up with me... some people just don't want my money! With this post, now I'll consider having a lemon tree indoor!

Thanks, Linda
