Trays create an instant put together feeling, they help you pull a chic vignette... immediately make a space look more organized {and stylish}, they are super easy to find.... plus you always have an extra room in a tray for a little flower vase!
I use trays everywhere...to decorate..to display my perfume collection...to organize the kitchen sink...or the everyday cooking seasoning {actually mine look exactly like the one in the last picture}! I use from vintage silver trays to little plates.. to rattan {for the magazines}...you name it, I have it & there is is probably displayed somewhere in the house with a little vignette!

I have always loved trays. It just seems like such a simple, classic way to gather several items together. It's tidy but not boxed up. Love all the photos you included!
How ironic! On my way home from a friend's house earlier and passed a garage sale, so my children begged me to pull over (they LOVE finding inexpensive treasures) and what do I find but a vintage crystal tray with a sugar bowl and milk decanter and the first thing I thought of was, this will make for a stylish way to organize some things on my desk! I already have other vintage trays and vases which I use to organize some of my jewelry and other small trinkets, lovely!
P.S. Another clever organizational tip: I use cupcake trays to organize my beads which are also great for keeping tiny items compartmentalized!
Absolutely, one for my perfume and one on top of the bar cabinet. I am always on the lookout for more, especially a vintage mirrored brass little number!
