I always fancy a gold leaf frame or an ornate border that adds a touch of sophistication and glamour to any room..! It doesn't need to be much maybe a mirror here, a picture frame there and always on my list... the ultimate sette with golden borders or a fabulous crystal chandelier *sigh*.
Can you believe all these beautiful picture actually belong to a french luxury fashion shop "Département Féminin"!! As as if the store itself wasn't fabulous enough they carry brands like Lanvin, Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga and Azzedine Alaia to name a few...! I would never leave this place!! Definelty a must see in my next trip to France!!

Wonderful textural contrast of tousled painted brick, with dainty, fairy-like gold fillagree carvings. Beautiful! A shop to in which to lose a few precious moments, feeling like happy hours...
Yes me too! I love a touch of Baroque glam with cleaner and more modern lines. Gives such a nice contrast and adds that little extra spice.
