What a lovely wreath..!! I am actually quite excited because I learned last night how to do a traditional wreath using a laundry wire hanger...... I know finally they are good for something!! And it's so simple... ! Since I am decorating my house in gold and silver this holiday season I did mine using all gold Christmas balls!!!
Enough said here is how to DIY:

1. Without even opening the hanger make a round shape.
2. To secure the metal cap to the ball, dab a little hot glue and press. {I thought it was no necessary and after my first one I decided to start doing it because some of the balls will start falling out and is impossible to put them back again}.
3. Untwist the end of the hanger, then start string one ornament at a time. Here is where you can play with color and size!
4. Cover the wire hook with a nice sating ribbon and voila... you have a lovely fun wreath that is super easy to hang..!!

Oh SO pretty! And love that it is THAT easy! Where's a picture of yours?? =) Enjoy!
My Mom was just telling me about a project like this, couldn't quite picture it in my head until now - this is beautiful & so easy! Too bad I just took a bag full of old ornaments to Goodwill, I totally would have done this!
This is so pretty. I've been wondering how to do this without breaking everthing in sight, now I know - thank you!

What a fantastic idea! I've got a punch of old ornaments laying around. I'll have to try this!
Beautiful! The shatter-proof ornaments are ideal for this project. You can usually find a box of 30 or so ornaments at Walmart for $15.
Wow. That is gorgeous. Love the Easter pastel colors. Bring on the festivity! :]
Just found this post ... bought an extra large bag of balls at IKEA in their 'as is area for 6 bucks ... was wondering how to use them .... this is perfect :-)
