If you are looking for a twist from the traditional holiday decoration how about adding some gleaming trees, sequin wrapped baubles, some bedazzling stockings and a couple of jewel-toned wreaths and filled glasses with sequins and paillettes...!! Isn't this a great New year's party decor inspiration...?

I love those stockings! I just got some cheap-o stockings from Target for some houseguests we'll be having soon, and now I'm thinking I'll stop by the craft store on my way home and pick up some sequined rickrack!
