Lunch Break: A dockside Picnic!

Nothing like a lazy summer Friday lunch by the water under a bright blue sky! Love the idea of grabbing a cute modern wire tote.. with a few pretty details...you are ready to transport your outdoor dining with flair!

The ultimate Riviera chic tote!! I guess if there is one more accessory to splurge before the end of the season...this would be it for me! And to judge by sales... I am not the only one crazy about this bag...Sold out at Barney's, and the green one I saw at Balenciaga last night, sold out by this morning...!

I think every summer wardrobe should have a cool raffia tote... and if it's dyed raffia even better!! The perfect accessory for a day at the market, brunch with friends..! But if I have this Balenciaga would love to bring some fun to a more traditional look as Mademoiselle Agnes did in St Tropez! Tres chic!!

I had these pictures saved for a while now and I keep coming back to them...! Love everything Ryan Korban touches.. there is such a French flair meets NY Soho. I would love for him to come home and help get that je ne sais quoi that would take my home to the next level!

How cute is the white chair with all those books and a fabulous flower bouquet..? I can think of a couple of chairs around the house that would look fabulous with a touch like this! And how about that classic bow detail? I wouldn't use it all around the house but maybe for that special print in a special corner... to-die-for!! I am bananas with that lamp shade....

A stroll through the streets of a town in Provence, France

How fabulous would be to just wake up somewhere in Provence, let's just say Arlens... take a walk down the streets with no need to be somewhere at a certain time... maybe stop at a coffee shop and have a croissant and just really be present taking all the colors and shapes in...! And end the morning at a lovely outdoor restaurant for some decadent salad with blue cheese and some vino!!! Tres tres Jolie!!!

When the kids go back to school I am going back to my French lessons!!!

Fashion Inspiration: {Mad Men Obsession} Mona Johannesson for Elle Sweden

Loving this very 1950s editorial with a very strong Mad Men vibe..! I need to polish my skills with the eyeliner so I can flaunt this very sexy cat look {as seen here before}! It's time to start taking my pearls and kitten heels out... but would probably need to get a 60 inspired skirt..!
