Food Inspiration: Blue Cheese Tartine

.... not the fanciest of appetizers but who can resist the creamy tang of blue cheese, the crispiness of bacon and the sweetness of honey? I think is perfect for a winter night pair it with a great Cabernet!!

Even a simple open faced sandwich sounds fabulous in French... le Tartine!!

Oh my God! My husband would love this. He LOVES Blue cheese, unlike me! I will be passing this recipe discreetly to him when I don't feel like cooking ;-)

Just made this for lunch and it was divine! I had it with a pear, which went superbly well with it!
