... it reminds me of the ponytail I used when I was a flight attendant but this one has an interesting twist.. that J'adore! The ponytail I know is very simple: you make a loose low ponytail, you make a whole in the center between your scalp and the ponytail, you flip the ponytail inside of it... and voila!! Now I need to figure out the twist..!! {I'll try to do tutorial if my words are not very clear.. let me know if you would be interested}.
Hope you have a fabulous hair day!!

Looks like a fatter variation of fishtail that ends abruptly (if that makes any sense). I have to grab a friend to try this; it's too hard to experiment on myself.
Please do a tutorial! I love this, but would never be able to do it without explicit instructions. :)
Yes, love this !!
Thank you for all the lovely comments! I'll try to do a tutorial next week!! Isn't it cic with a twist?
Hope you are all having a fabulous day!

I tried for so long to make this hairstyle, but I just can't figure it out. Please make a tut.

xo.
This is an incomplete and loose fishtail braid at the top of the pontail, and fastened with a pin.
Just curious if you ever posted the tutorial. I found this do recently on pinterest, and I'm in love! I'd love to know how to do it.
Just tried this on a friend it's really easy.
Divide your hair into two parts. Take the top hair and make a loose ponytail which you loop through the parted center as described in the image caption. Then take the lower part of the hair, divide it into two parts and "cross" over the rubberband from the top ponytail (to hide it), kind of lik tying a simple knot. Now fasten the ends of the lower part of the hair in the back of the rubberband either with a pin or two or just pry it into the rubberband.
This creates a ponytail similar to what's on the picture, don't know if that's how it's really done though :-)
I know what flip you're talking about! I use the same one - it is a life saver! Since my hair is so thick, if I wear a regular pony it is too heavy, and I'll get a headache. So I use this funny little flip. Everyone always asks how I did it, but the secret is that I bought a tool from Claire's to do it. It's a little loop that turns into a stick, and all I do is slip the pony through it and then slip the stick through the hole. It makes the whole thing so much easier : D
I featured this on my blog!

I MUST learn how to do this! it is lovely!!!
Maybe you do that twice?
I think it is a tail, leaving two side locks. You take these strands and twist it twice over the tail, and learns at the bottom of the tail.
Sorry for the bad text. I had to translate the text into English.
Love it! Really need to figure out how to do it (1.), and then grow my hair long enough (2.)... haha :) Sent you some link love today http://www.themombot.com/crafting/2011/05/13/friday-link-love
