...what a charming way of adding extra rooms while still enjoying the convenience of living in the city!!! The original penthouse, located on Manhattan West side, was a narrow series of rooms with a large open terrace.... and by adding light-filled conservatory rooms they gain a dinning area, study and a master bathroom!!! et voila!!
Now I could enjoy a fabulous dinner surrounded by windows under the NY skies everyday of the week......!!!
To see the rest of the penthouse go {here} and {here}.

How wonderful! Outdoor spaces on the West side, perfect. I love this.
Looks simply fabulous! can't believe it's in such a big and busy city as New York :)
Oh, Sasha, I went over to the other sites to see more of the penthouse & discovered it belongs to stage & screen actor Joel Gray, and that it is in the Des Artistes building. There was a beautiful restaurant on the ground floor, directly facing Central Park called
Cafe Des Artistes which was one of our favorite places in NYC, we never missed going there, alas the economic downturn caused their demise & is is now closed. How wonderful to revisit it this way.

So beautiful! Of course, I suspect I'd like anything that includes the words "rooftop," "conservatory," and "Manhattan" and features orchids prominently.
Oh my goodness! lol.. I have this set up to post today! (I'll wait till Spring) hahaha... I love that we like the same things! Always a treat to stop by Sasha... hope you're doing well :)

IS THIS MY VALENTINE'S PRESENT???
Really Fabulous!
jaw... to the floor... this is absolutely gorgeous. and what tops it off for me is that it is in the city.
The white mixed with the charcoal grey walls and dark green window treatments is divine.
and the inside outside feeling makes it feel so relaxed and refreshing.
I'm just floored that this a penthouse in NYC. love. love. love
ps the stylist has great taste to with those simple but elegant flower picks.

This is really a testimony to thinking outside-the-box. What a fine solution for a small apartment with a large terrace.
