With mother's day around the corner why not dress up your table in a very chic chinoiserie theme, and invite your mother friends for a nice lunch or dinner?  The goal.... to celebrate and encourage each other to keep being our best in these ever challenging role as mothers!!

I love using pink carnations to decorate a tablescape, they are effortless, chic and very inexpensive.... plus they look extra special on a mint julep!! Black accents such as bamboo flatware, glasses and candles, add some drama and sophistication to the table. Place settings always add that extra detail, no matter how intimate your gathering is. Don't be afraid to play around and add some unexpected details... if you don't have matching plates interchange them! No mint julep, use some cute English tea cups..!! Entertaining is about having fun since the moment you start thinking about who, when and what...!!!

Oh welcome back carnations! Why did we ever let them go out of style? They are such pretty pastel colours, and the nutmeg scent is truly delicious.

Love your theme ~ very elegant.
