...whether is color coding your books, placing them horizontally and vertically, adding some fabulous art, a personal token from a trip or a nice vintage collection... styling bookshelves is really about having fun and surrounding yourselves with things you like!!! For me is a given, every time I visit a home my eyes immediately are drawn to the bookshelves...I fell I always discover something new about the owners of the house! One thing for sure, the are endless possibilities...!

I love bookshelves. Like you, I always find myself drawn to people's bookshelves - I love seeing the books they choose to display; its really an extension of their private self, the things they find important.
Now, me, my bookshelf actually limits me to what I can display. It was made by a dear family member, but its measurements and proportions are horribly off. Many of my favorite books won't even fit on the shelves!
These are the perfect inspiration I was looking for. I've been searching for a new bookcase and way to display my books. I love that colorful bookshelves, but unfortunately I don't think my book collection is that amazingly color coordinated! ha.

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed my recommendations for Annapolis! It really is the most charming little town. I'm actually a Californian, living in Maryland for 2 years while my husband attends grad school, so downtown Annapolis is very different from anywhere I've lived before, but it has been such a wonderful East Coast experience for us! Glad you loved it as much as we do! :)
